Skin Remodeling can be used to tighten loose skin. Skin is tightened as older skin is removed and new elastin and collagen fibers pull the rebuilt skin together. Think of young skin as the surface of of a balloon; push it in or pull it out and it quickly pull back into a smooth surface.

This method has worked for many Skin Biology clients.

1. Hydroxy acids and strong copper peptides will slowly tighten skin. This is a slow process, taking several months, and the hydroxy acids can produce a mild irritation. Some of our clients, after losing large amounts of weight, have used this procedure to avoided the need for the surgical removal of excess skin. For this purpose, Trireduction P&R with Retinol is used in the morning and LacSal Cream at night.

2. If this does not work fast enough, you might use a stronger hydroxy acid such as a 15% to 30% lactic acid or 30% glycolic acid.

3. Some clients apply the copper peptide creams and hydroxy acids, at about 4 to 6 hour intervals. The Trireduction cream is used twice daily and the hydroxy acid twice daily. Stronger SRCPs such as Super Cop or Super CP Serum will act more quickly but it is best to start with the Trireduction cream.

4. Take a daily supplements of 1 gram vitamin C, and 1 gram of MSM (methylsulfonyl methane). The vitamin C helps crosslinking and the MSM supplies nutritional sulfur for protein synthesis.

5. Combine the above with aerobic exercise to tighten internal muscles.

6. Some women tell us that a mild breast lift can also be achieved by this method. For this purpose, the best products are the P&R Breast cream and a 15% to 30% lactic acid or glycolic acid.

7. A more extensive tightening can be attained by laser resurfacing followed by Super GHK-Copper, or CP Serum and Emu Oil to aid the healing process.
