The skin surrounding the
eyes is one of the most difficult skin areas repair and keep healthy and
young looking.
1. It is the thinnest skin in the body and is very easily damaged.
2. The use of many color cosmetics and makeup, with their high concentrations of dyes and metal salts, can produce extensive skin damage and sagging. This skin is often chronically irritated and may be in a condition of sub-clinical inflammation.
3. Many cleansers used to remove makeup cause further irritation by stripping away protective lipids from the skin.
Stepwise Products Used to Rebuild Skin Around the Eyes
Rebuilding this skin area is complicated. Use of progressively stronger remodeling system works best. This method was developed by our clients. Most clients start with Super GHK-Copper Cream or Super GHK-Copper Serum, CP Night Eyes Premier (relatively mild cream), then move to CP Night Eyes Regular. When this skin is somewhat thicker and more protective, most clients move to using Super CP Serum, and finally Super Cop.

Initial Treatment
of Damaged Skin Around the Eyes
1. Because this skin may be already badly damaged, start with a very light coating of Super GHK-Copper Cream, Super GHK-Copper Serum, or CP Night Eyes Premier, then gradually increase the amount applied with time. If you experience irritation, this means that too much copper peptide is passing through a very damaged skin barrier.
2. One approach is to use Emu Oil one night to replenish skin lipids, then Super GHK-Copper Cream every second night.
3. This also sometimes helps. Clean your eye area to remove make up, then rinse the skin with clear water. Apply Super GHK-Copper Cream, Super GHK-Copper Serum, or CP Night Eyes while the skin is still wet.
4. For some persons, Super GHK-Copper may be a better option as it is milder on damaged or sensitive skin.
5. As your skin barrier is repaired, you will become less sensitive to any applied material. With time, the skin around your eyes skin should tighten and firm.
6. Use a very mild makeup remover such as Liquid Gentle Clean.
7. When you can tolerate the first product, then move to the stronger products. (Start with Super GHK-Copper Cream, Super GHK-Copper Serum, or CP Night Eyes Premier, then CP Night Eyes Regular, then Super CP Serum, and finally Super Cop) Rebuilding the skin around the eyes may take over a year.
8. If you experience excessive dryness, use a little less of the copper peptide products and cover them with a light amount of either Emu Oil for Skin Or Retinol/Squalane.
9. Obtaining a cosmetically good effect around your eyes may take a year, but it is better than surgery.
Sometimes Skin Loosens, then Tightens
On some occasions, users report an loosening of skin around their eyes, followed by a tightening.

I took a look at my eyes first thing this morning and man, I got to tell you, they looked awful! Big drooping, puffy half moon ring underneath both of them. Much worse then the day before. At this time I look 100% worse then I did when I started Night Eyes two weeks ago. This is not good but I haven't lost hope or faith in your products, I'm just concerned about what is happening and what I should do now. It would be nice to think that the puffiness is part of a reconstruction process going on under the outer skin. Is that possible? Are the effects of your products transdermal?

My eyes are much better now! The puffiness is gone! I believe it was some deep rebuilding of the subdermal skin. The areas underneath my eyes are now "filled out". I still have lots of small lines around the eyes but I'm sure that the lines will vanish in time by continued use of your products. All and all a good experience at using your product.

| Certain types of copper-peptide
complexes have a broad range of tissue regenerative and remodeling actions.

"I want to show you a pic of when I started all my skin care routine...The first pic is May 5, 2005, the second 6 weeks later, the third 6 months after...Look at my eyes, jowls, and most importantly my neck, which I believe is the foundation of everything! Touching it, it felt like tissue paper. I had creases, and below my adam's apple, I had those horrific vertical lines. Just check it out.
By curiosity only, I took this pic myself. I was in shock when I looked at it! "That's Me???", I said! I have some opinions on facial exercises, and admit to doing them as part of my routine, but IT BEGINS WITH GETTING ON THE RIGHT REGIMEN TO REBUILD AND FIRM YOUR SKIN! I proved that with the recent pics I sent you, as I was curious as to if the exercises were helping or was it the skin products I was using (Skin Biology's of course!)...
Would you like to have my neck too? I have experimented with my face and skin so much, you wouldn't believe it! I've tried a lot of the "over-the-counter" products, but all ended up long on promises and short on results! I think I must have tried at least 20 products, LOL! Yes "Me", A GUY!...
I like the sides of my neck, and just the overall better appearance! At the time of the second pic I noticed the difference in my eyes a bit. But that is when I wondered is it the skin products or the eye exercises. Thus, I took some pics after not doing any exercises or skin care for a few days. Then only applied the skin care products. Since then I hardly touch my eye exercises! Only Skin Biology products!

SKIN CARE REGIMEN:
I started with three products! First of course, I used the Gentle Cleanser. Then Exfol Serum, which at the outset I found just a bit strong for my skin, so I diluted it with water 'til I used it all.
Emu Oil-S - After exfoliating I would use Emu Oil-S next, and my face literally soaked it in like a sponge! I loved how my face felt after using it, as I actually massaged my entire face and neck with it twice a day!
Next, I applied diluted CP Serum (2-3 drops of CP Serum mixed in the palm of my hand with a few drops water), as I had read to try it on top of an oil to avoid irritation and to give the skin time to adjust to the SRCPs. After first applying the SRCPs on top of the Emu Oil-S, I could feel a tightening effect. Plus my face and especially my neck began to have a nice glow to it!
After a few months of reading on the Skin Biology site that the Retinol in Squalane was also suitable for my skin, I decided to try it and eventually I switched to Exfol Cream.
On my eyes, at night only, I applied the Emu Oil-S first. Then, very diluted with water, CP Serum. Since I had gradually introduced my eyes to SRCPs by diluting it on top of the Emu Oil-S, I also ordered the CP Night Eyes as I thought they were now ready for direct application with an oil on top this time!
I now use Exfol Cream in the AM, followed by Retinol in Squalane, then only slightly diluted CP Serum...At night, after cleansing, I apply the diluted CP Serum first, then Retinol in Squalane on top, switching the order from the AM! On my eyes, I now apply the CP Night Eyes first on one night with the Squalane on top, and on the next night I reverse the order!
P.S. About the scalp: Forgot to mention this! I added Folligen and first tried Folligen Cream, now Folligen Spray. I do feel a difference in thickness! Many thanks!
MY GOALS:
My goal is to apply CP Serum first all of the time and CP Night Eyes too, followed by the Retinol in Squalane on top. But I'm just taking it slowly and enjoying it! I know how my skin felt and looked in May of 2005 (somewhat like tissue paper) and today over seven months later I see and feel a great difference! Thanks Skin Biology! I've been using SB's products for about 3 years now. I didn't start using any copper around my eyes until Nov. '04, about a year ago. I do see a "lift" and lessening of wrinkles around the eyes. My guess is that my wrinkling is more than 50% better. I'm 48 years old and spend a lot of time outdoors, now and for quite a few years before this. I've also lived about ten years in Texas while I was in my 30's near the beach and fried the blue blazes out of my skin. It was great but my skin was a mess. Even so, my age is regularily guessed now to be about a decade younger than I am. This only started happening after I used these products...
But it's worth it to me because I am seeing the improvement.

I've had positive results with eyelids. I would still like to see more, but there is some improvement... I also use retin-a .25, dmae and I use the dermatone face exerciser. I've used that less often on my eyes though lately...
I'm impressed with a wrinkle on my neck being decreased, so I'm sure it does do tightening on damaged skin. I also think the tendency to reduce swelling makes the eyes more open.

I started with CP Night Eyes and the oils, then switched to CP Serum, and then to Super CP Serum when it arrived. I apply the Serum, then use emu oil or squalane over it. The sun damage under my eye seemed to migrate to the surface and slowly slough off. The crow's feet have reduced and there has been a dramatic improvement above my eyes.
I have noticed that if I use too much Super CP Serum, then skin can become loose - but reducing the amount keeps the rebuilding going and the skin tight.

Biology - Your method works for some people. But CP Night Eyes is best
for very fragile skin around the eyes. Also, some people use CP Serum around
their eyes and then cover it with CP Night Eyes.
